QPost vs Ayrshare
Both are APIs for publishing to social platforms from your own code. Here's what actually differs, checked against Ayrshare's own site rather than guessed.
Checked against the platform's official documentation on 2026-10-26. These rules change; confirm against the docs before relying on them.
The short version
Ayrshare is a broad, established social publishing API: 14+ networks, in production since 2020, over 10,000 teams, backed by saas.group since October 2025. QPost is narrower and younger: TikTok, Instagram and YouTube only, free while in beta, built specifically for video and for AI agents publishing without a human in the loop.
Network coverage
Ayrshare's /post endpoint reaches Facebook, X, Bluesky,
Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, Telegram, TikTok, Google Business Profile,
Threads, Pinterest, Snapchat, YouTube, and WhatsApp (beta) — 14 named
networks, all included on every paid tier, not reserved for a higher one.
QPost publishes to three: YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. If your use case touches LinkedIn, X or Facebook, Ayrshare covers that and QPost does not. If it's specifically short-form video across TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, both cover it, QPost just doesn't do anything else.
Pricing
Ayrshare bills per social profile (one brand/customer/location you manage, not per seat, call, or post): Premium $149/mo for 1 profile, Launch $299/mo for up to 10, Business $599/mo for 30, and custom Enterprise pricing from 300 profiles up. Every tier includes unlimited API calls and unlimited posts; Launch and Business carry minimum profile commitments per Ayrshare's own pricing FAQ.
QPost is $0 while in beta, no credit card, no usage cap, full REST API and MCP access. Paid plans are planned once QPost leaves beta; existing users get notice before anything changes. For a single-brand integration that only needs TikTok/Instagram/YouTube, that's the difference between $0 and a $149/mo minimum today.
Connecting accounts
Ayrshare's docs describe linking TikTok as an OAuth-style "Click to Link" flow (TikTok login authorize done), with re-authorization required roughly every 365 days. Ayrshare's Instagram support requires a Business or Creator account connected to a Facebook Page, with a documented cap of 50 posts per 24 hours.
QPost's connection flow is the same shape, OAuth, then publish, for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube specifically. QPost's TikTok integration has passed TikTok's Content Posting API audit, so posts publish with the privacy level you choose (including public) rather than being forced private; we could not find a public Ayrshare statement about its own TikTok audit status to compare against, so we're not claiming an edge here either way, ask any vendor directly if an unaudited app would force your posts private.
Company maturity
Ayrshare has been in production since 2020, reports serving more than 10,000 teams and roughly 30 million API calls a day, and joined saas.group (a portfolio of profitable software companies) in October 2025. QPost is newer and smaller, currently in beta, built around a hosted MCP server for AI agents in addition to the REST API. If vendor track record matters more to you than price or scope, that's a real point in Ayrshare's favor.
For AI agents specifically
Both ship an MCP server. Ayrshare's documented MCP server exposes 75+
tools across its 13+ supported platforms, posting, history, analytics,
comments and direct messages, profile management, and more. QPost's
hosted MCP endpoint (https://qpost.dev/mcp, stateless
Streamable HTTP) is smaller and scoped to publishing: eight tools —
create_post, list_posts, get_post,
get_post_stats, update_post,
delete_post, retry_post,
list_connected_accounts — plus a one-line install for
Claude Code
(claude mcp add qpost -e QPOST_API_KEY=... -- npx -y qpost-mcp).
If your agent needs comment or DM management across a dozen-plus
networks, Ayrshare's is the bigger toolset; if it only needs to publish
video to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, QPost's is the narrower one.
Questions people arrive with
Does Ayrshare support TikTok, Instagram and YouTube?
Yes. Ayrshare's /post endpoint publishes to 14+ networks including TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, plus Facebook, X, Bluesky, LinkedIn, Reddit, Telegram, Google Business Profile, Threads, Pinterest, Snapchat and WhatsApp (beta) — on every paid tier, not gated to a higher plan.
How much does Ayrshare cost?
Ayrshare bills per "social profile" (one brand or account you manage), not per API call or post, every plan includes unlimited API calls and posts. As of 2026-10-26 its published tiers are Premium $149/mo (1 profile), Launch $299/mo (up to 10 profiles), Business $599/mo (30 profiles), and custom Enterprise pricing above that.
Is QPost free?
Yes, while QPost is in beta: no credit card, no usage cap, full access to the REST API and hosted MCP endpoint. Paid plans arrive once QPost leaves beta, with notice to existing users first.
Which one should I use?
If you need broad reach across many networks (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, etc.) and want an established, funded vendor, Ayrshare has five more years in production and far more networks. If your integration is specifically about short-form video, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, and you want to publish for free while testing, QPost is scoped to exactly that.

If you'd rather not run the review yourself
QPost is already audited by TikTok and handles the OAuth, token refresh and media hosting for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Your users connect their own accounts, and you publish through one REST API or an MCP server. Free while in beta.
